Weekly Wrap 100 Salt Water

weekly wrap 100 salt water

I just can’t stop with the “Water” theme! It’s so much fun! This week I am enjoying a long weekend on the Mississippi Gulf coast with not only my sweetie but my daughter is joining us as well as our friends.

Speaking of my daughter, did you see where she turned 21 last Thursday? Yea, I think I need my own celebration after getting her to this milestone in life. Whooosh! Talk about relief. She’ll always be my baby but my “parenting” job is DONE!

Weekly Activity

Still slinging sweat this week
Sunday – rest
Monday – Run 3 Miles with intervals and Leg day
Tuesday – Run 2.5 Miles
Wednesday – Run 1.57 Miles – no gym
Thursday – Run 3 Miles
Friday – Run 1 mile

I had to get my post ready before I left town. I tried my best to get in some extra miles this week. I have no idea if I’ll be able to run this weekend or not.  Will just have to see.

How has my weekend gone???

You’ll just have to check out my social media posts to find out but chances are we are having a great time!

  2. Great job this week, and happy birthday to your daughter!

  3. I’m the baby in my family, and yes, my mom still calls me that. You’ll always be the mom!

    • Yes I will but I do feel like the day-in and day-out responsibilities of parenting will get lighter I do still call my mom when I need her

  4. No kiddos for me, but I don’t think a whole lot changed for my parents when I turned 21! I was already living on my own and graduated college a year later and started working. I think it was more of an emotional milestone for my parents. 🙂

    • I get this I was married when I was 20 I’m not sure my parents felt the same relief as I did with my daughter

  5. I can’t believe it is already July… this year has flown by!

  7. Ahhhh not even close! Our daughter will be turning 3 next month, I can’t even begin to imagine the teenage years or her becoming a legal adult. Scary! I’ve been enjoying your water theme with the Weekly Wrap posts and we’ve been able to actually be spending a lot of time on the water here too! We finally bought a tandem kayak and have been enjoying it on the lakes.

  11. You sure are having a great time this summer! Looking good! and still getting in a few miles here and there! Kudos! Looked like your daughter had a great birthday. The kids birthdays make me feel old! I am still asking my head wondering how they got that old! My daughter has a birthday next week and she is wanting to do one of those escape rooms 🙂 Enjoy the week and stay cool!

  12. You are having all the water fun i see on Instagram 🙂 It is nice you are cutting back the miles and enjoying yourself, you’re still getting your activity in though!
I do have the 21 year old experience, 27 now…but I can’t say a thing about adulthood right now. I feel like I didn’t do my job well.
It is fun when the kids grow up and they really start living their lives though!! It is good to see them prosper 🙂

  16. Congrats to the daughter (and mom) on that milestone! My oldest baby turns 23 tomorrow (YIKES!), and our son will be 20 on the 16th (again, YIKES!). The other daughter will soon be 18…and I just don’t feel old enough (or wise enough?) to have “kids” this old. I love all of your Insta pics…ya’ll (see what I did there?) are always having so much fun 😉

  17. I am loving all of your photos from your escapades. 🙂 Happy Birthday to your daughter!

  20. Sooo my brother-in-law lives with us and he is 21… that’s as close as I can relate! With a 2- and 4-year-old in tow, I think that parenting at the young adult stage looks really intimidating versus small children stage. Even though my bro-in-law is not “my” child, I still worry about him when he’s out late or doesn’t call on long trips! How’s that for weird… Thankfully we have a while until our kiddos grow up. Now to just live through potty training 😉 haha

Happy birthday to your daughter and congrats on link-up #100!!! Party time!
