Cheers to September

A huge thank you from both Holly and I for all the support we have received. Who would have ever thought we would be going strong and heading into our third year.

Welcome September and I can hardly wait for that first cool snap to bring it on in! I may not have to wait too long our forecast right now says temps will drop into the 50’s this week! We may need to stay here at the campground for it too!

Last week I gave away a Move for Gold Event entry into their virtual Run. Congratulations to Heather on the win!

Don’t forget you can join me and the Move More Fitness Community for a great cause September 22-24. It is your choice on how you get your “MOVE” on in the Move For Gold event. By signing up you get a Move More Fitness Tank and medal! Make sure to hash-tag #MoveForGold. I’ll be out there right with you getting my MOVE on!

It’s Game Day Yall!

On Saturday the hubs wasted no time getting ready for the first College Football Saturday. We had games going all afternoon and both the Alabama game and Ole Miss game on two different devices at the same time! We had great company, good food and drinks flowing! This is what Saturdays look like for us!

Have you been noticing all my Flex It Pink tops? Want some of your own??? You know you do! Use my referral code to get $$ off!!! Here is the link!

Today is going to be a nice relaxed day out at the lake. I hope to get out on the water for some water therapy too! What is on tap for Labor day for you?

Does it feel like Fall where you are?

Cheers,
Tr!c!@

  2. We are all set to watch VT vs WVU in ten minutes! It’s a great rivalry night for our family, since my husband, oldest son, daughter-in-law, and I all graduated from VT, but our youngest son graduated from WVU. It should be a good game. Go Hokies!

    Thanks for the linkup!

  4. Unfortunately it does feel like fall here. 🙁

Tomorrow should be more summer-like but then it cools off again. I’m hoping to trade a hike for an easy run tomorrow. I just hope it’s not too muddy since it rained all day today!

Good job on 9 miles — that seems like jumping right in there!

  5. It feels like fall today, but it’s going to be summer again later this week. We’ve enjoyed having the windows open for now. Yesterday was a BIG day for college football around here too. Happy September!

  6. So jealous of your cooler temps! Our lows will be in the 60s this week, but the highs will still be 90+!

  7. That TV setup at the campground is impressive! You guys don’t miss a thing!

It’s starting to feel like fall here. Cooler mornings. But its’ still warm during the day. That’s going to change this week, tho. I’m not ready!

  8. It definitely doesn’t feel like fall here. It was a little less humid today though, and that was nice. But I’m ready for actual cool temperatures. Great job to you on the workouts this week AND your longest run since April!

  10. Great job on your long run! I don’t have labor day off so I’ll be working. Relaxing at the lake sounds nice.

  11. Great job getting in that long run! Its actually cooling off quite a bit around here and staring to feel like fall. Although Im sure we will still have plenty more warm days this season.

  12. Long runs during the summer are anything but easy. Kudos to you for pushing through and running 9 miles!

  14. You guys have your campsite pimped out perfectly for game day! I love it! Like Wendy said, it’s getting a little fallish here. Cool at night but warms up during the day. Great for running!

  15. It’s mid-80s today so it definitely does not feel like fall yet! But it was chilly last week and definitely felt like fall on Friday! I’m enjoying the return of summery temps 🙂 Love your campsite – so much fun!

  16. I love your game day set up at your campsite! Major style points there! It’s feeling a little more Fall-ish today here. Occasionally we have a 80-90 degree day but today is in the high 60’s and I’m LOVING it! Woop woop – bring on the Fall!

  17. You will love that first cold snap! We have been really lucky here–it’s been mostly cool in the early mornings when I run, so I haven’t had to deal with a lot of heat and humidity like others training.

  18. Football season already…summer just flew by! Thanks for hosting the link-ups, it’s been a fun way to find new blogs to follow!

  19. Nice game day setup! Summer has definitely gone by fast. Way to go on your long run! It doesn’t quite feel like fall yet here in Davis, with temps being in the 90’s so I’ll enjoy when the cooler weather comes. Hopefully within the next month! 🙂

  20. I hope you enjoyed the weekend! We are big on college football too LOL, but we’re all about the Big 10 so my bf had a bunch of games playing on Saturday and Sunday!

Great job getting back to the long runs! I had 10 this weekend, the longest in a while!

  21. Ahhh so cool that you got to watch the games outside on you tv! I’ve never done that before. It is definitely starting to look like autumn up here in Washington. Even though our temps have been up in the 80s lately, the trees are turning and leaves are starting to fall!

  22. No fall weather here! but it is time for some football and I am loving it! Congrats on that 9 miler- I think I am up to 7. Slow and easy I say!

  23. Thank you for hosting a great giveaway! I’m so excited to Move for Gold later this month!
I spent Labor day at Disneyland – then on a red eye flight home. It definitely did not feel like fall in California, but it did feel a bit like fall this morning on the east coast!

  24. It should feel like fall in Montana, but it doesn’t yet…we went camping Labor Day weekend and it was 95 degrees one day. At least mornings are getting cooler, I just wish the rest of the day would follow!
