Weekly Wrap 126 And that’s a Wrap

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap 126 And that’s a Wrap, it is with great sadness that this will be my last time holding the reins of co-host of the Weekly Wrap. I’ve thought long and hard about this decision and my sweet friend Holly has been nothing but supportive and honestly, taking up my slack over the last several months.  I have made so many friends through this link up and I’ve gotten to peek into your lives each and every week and for many of you even though I’ve never met you I consider you my close friends. There is just something special that us bloggers share together.

Weekly Wrap

I thank you for joining us in the Weekly Wrap. This link up was created to help all of us support each other in staying active, whatever that may look like for you! Let us know what is going on in your neck of the woods. I encourage you to link up your posts each week. Holly from HoHo Runs is moving forward full force with this so there will be no interruptions.

Sunday – 7 miles
Monday – EAT, umm rest
Tuesday – 3 miles progressive
Wednesday – Bi’s and Back
Thursday – 3.15 miles
Friday – nothing
Saturday – 5 miles

I got in a fair amount of activity this week but it is pale in comparison to how much food I consumed. It’s so hard to pass up treats you only get once a year so I didn’t pass up much.

Thinking about 2018, I have several races already on the calendar at least one half marathon in every month until May and then who knows. I don’t plan on slowing down.

In case you haven’t seen the pattern for the last couple of weeks on my social media I’ve been reminiscing over what all has happened in 2017 it’s my kind of wrap it up post so to say just sprinkled out over about 3 weeks! I’m using #my2017inreview hashtag.

Coming Up:

In two weeks I’ll be in Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Half and just this week I booked flights and hotel for Tampa for Gasparilla in February. I haven’t signed up for Wine 10k the very next week but I’m strongly considering it and Montgomery Half will be in March. Last on the schedule is Rock n Roll Nashville.

And that’s a wrap. Fairwell to all my Weekly Wrap friends!!

Cheers,
Tr!c!@

  1. Tricia, I’m so sorry to see you leaving as host — you will be SO missed (although I’m sure you’re not planning to stop blogging — or at least I hope not). I love reading about all your adventures. And it certainly sounds like you have a lot of adventures lines up for 2018 already! You are definitely the little engine that CAN!

Have a very happy new year.

  2. I’m so sorry to see you go from the WW but I know you won’t be far away! Blogging is a huge time suck, I mean commitment, and there have been a few times this year I’ve considered giving it up. Those connections tho…I’d miss everyone!

Hope we get to connect at a race this year! Happy New Year, my friend!

  11. My activity level hasn’t matched my food intake the last few weeks either, but the holidays only come once a year. It’s a few weeks, and you don’t get these treats often. I’ve been trying to avoid store-bought and only eating the good stuff like homemade foods I can only get now… so at least I’m being picky with it, right? You still had a good week and I hope 2018 goes well!

  14. Yes I totally get it. Blogging is a huge drain on one’s time and I don’t even host a link-up.

You’ve done a great job and I hope that you continue to blog so I can follow your adventures. I hope to meet up with you again at a race too.

It is so cold here, it’s hard to get any runs in and when I do, they’re short or I would freeze to death. It was -8 this am and that’s not with the windchill.

Happy New Year! It sounds like you have exciting plans for the new year!
