Weekly Wrap 93 This is Happiness

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap 93 This is Happiness and truly I’ve felt more at ease this week. I am falling into a nice routine. We are still camping and no I don’t really want to go home.

I had nothing but a blank computer screen, not one hour before this went live. It is Mother’s Day and I’m enjoying myself here at the campground!

Before I elaborate anymore let me stay accountable by sharing how my active week went.

Sunday – Lots of walking back and forth to the washers washing clothes

Monday – 2.62 miles and one heavy leg day! So heavy I was quite sore through Wednesday!

Tuesday – Got in my 10,000 steps all walking and that’s it!

Wednesday – 3 miles and shoulders

Thursday 4.09 afternoon miles

Friday 1.5 morning miles

Saturday – 5.10 miles

Looking back over this week I realized I ran 4 days in a row. Some were mornings others afternoons, all were slow but all enjoyable. Ahhh happiness.

Work was still very busy at times but it did make for the day going by fast.

Can’t beat this view

I got to enjoy some bank fishing a couple days and while I didn’t reel in any big ones I did snag not one but two turtles.

Weekly Wrap 93 This is Happiness

I did some online shopping this week. I have 3 summer dresses coming for just over $50 for all 3. If they fit this will be a great deal.

Weekly Wrap 93 This is Happiness

I fell in love with these shoes in a local store but couldn’t bring myself to dropping $85 on them. I came home and after a quick search found them with free shipping and saves over $20! Yay!!!

Coming Up

I have two fun weekends coming up. I’ll be at the beach next weekend and camping with another set of friends the next. I’m sure between those two weeks I can come up with more plans to get summer started! Wink wink

I’m going to get back to my company we have plans to cook hibachi this afternoon.
Do you have any Summer plans yet?

  5. Glad you are enjoying some down time and getting in some great workouts!! I hope you have had a blessed Mother’s Day! We just got home from Pensacola.

    • I saw your amazing pictures from P’cola! Was that a condo you stayed in? Our friends have a beach house rented, we are taking the RV and parking in the driveway. It is supposed to rain some so I hope it won’t mess up any of our plans.

  6. Loving those shoes! What brand are they? They look a lot like my Danskos!

  13. Good job on all that shopping! 😉

After 3 trips in 3 months (which I know is nothing compared to you), we have no summer plans. Zero. Zip. Nada. I think Mr. Judy may be getting a bit concerned about how crowded the National Parks in UT will be . . . and it won’t even be summer! He doesn’t like crowds.

I’m ready for a little downtime at home, actually.

    Enjoy the good life, Tricia!

    • My shopping tends to come in spurts! Short ones cause the money runs out quick lol.
I hope yall have a fantastic time in UT. I am really bummed I can’t go but don’t write me off for next year!

  14. That’s a great deal. $50 for three dresses. Hope they all fit!

  15. Nice job! I wish I had time to squeeze in lifting as a workout, I know it must make a huge difference to have stronger legs! So you caught 2 turtles! Did you keep them or put them back in the water?

I’m still deciding summer plans…have no idea where we want to go!
Janelle @ Run With No Regrets recently posted…Buffalo Half Marathon Training Week 7 RecapMy Profile

    • I have seen results in adding in weights for my legs. Physical (I love being able to see my leg muscles) and in strength. No doubt it helps with running!
I did put both turtles back unharmed and they were very glad to be released too!

  16. Ooh!! Those shoes look comfy!!

Your next two weeks of adventures sound wonderful! I always forget how much I miss the summer!
Ana recently posted…Weekly Wrap 5.14.17My Profile

  17. I wouldn’t want to leave the campground either! It’s not really camping season in Montana yet… More like mud season.

  18. Those are super cute shoes. I hope all 3 dresses fit perfectly.

I’m turning 40 in Aug, and my husband planned some really fun activities that I get to anticipate for the next several months. Plus my parents and big sister are coming out to celebrate with me. I can hardly wait! There are other things I’m excited about, too, but those are the big ones. 🙂
Clarinda recently posted…Week in Review – 5/14My Profile

  19. I got Stitch Fix last week and kept two dresses from the shipment. The weather is rather crazy right now, but that’ll give me time to get through my race before getting my dresses out, since I won’t be wearing Rocktape after my race.

  20. Enjoy the break from racing! You got a lot of races in over the last few months… I’m sure your body will appreciate some easy running!
Laura recently posted…Switch to 5k training recap + Meal planningMy Profile

    • I agree we all need some time off mentally from racing even though I’m not breaking records, racing is tough.

  21. It is hard to balance being busy and having adventures and blogging and reading! Enjoy yourself 🙂 It is good you still get all your activity accomplished and stay on the move.
Leg days are tough, I don’t even have to go heavy and it impacts my running for days.

    • With everything else around me falling apart thankfully I am still motivated to get in my running. Surely I can hang on to that!

  22. Look at you living the big life, camping and online shopping! I am SO bad with shopping this month with all the Mother’s day sales and coupons I get for my birthday……….. no one loves me like me! LOL! Great job on those runs- it is heating up and these long runs are getting tough!
Mary Beth Jackson recently posted…May is my Month- Week TwoMy Profile

    • My runs have gotten so slow! I have lost any speed I ever had. Maybe it all went into whipping out the credit card for these mini shopping sprees! Ya know I’m pretty dang fast at that! Bahahaha!!!

  23. Cute turtle, I gues that’s catching something at least!!
$50 for 3 dresses, that is awesome!!!
Hope you enjoyed your camping mothers day!

    • At the time the turtles were the only thing biting! My fingers are crossed on the dresses. It’s about all I wear in the summer, so comfy and summer dresses look cute with either heeled sandals or flip flop!

  24. You scored a great deal on those dresses! Do we get a preview of them when they arrive? 😉

  27. Sounds like a fun week! My boyfriend and I are headed to Kentucky in a few weeks to run the Tough Mudder up there and spend some time with family. I’m excited! This will be my first real vacation since August (I define vacation as going out of state and taking more than 2 days off work ;-))

  28. ahhhhhhhh! what a happy week you had!!! I do hope mothers day was extra awesome!!!!
Weve got several turtles in our pond and while its not as fun as catching a big fish, they can still give a good fight being reeled in.
loved the pictures btw. very peaceful and serene looking!!!

  29. I always do searches online for discounts and things, glad you did some online shopping and saved some money! Coupon codes are the best. I think my summer racing is also over for the most part too. As far as other summer plans, I figure hubs and I will take some weekend trips and of course, lots of time at the pool… laying out and relaxing, not swimming!

  30. Awwww…running happy is the best! Nice job shopping online! I booked a summer vacation recently and right before I pressed the pay button, I did a quick google search for a coupon code. BOOM, $200 off!

  32. Sounds like a nice week! How crazy you caught two turtles. Great deals on the dresses and shoes! I am looking forward to summer! We’ll be hitting two national parks, Yellowstone and Tetons!! 🙂
Sharon recently posted…Last Week’s Workouts and Weekly Wrap 5/8-5/14My Profile

    • I am not a big shopper but when I get in the mood I can throw down some money in a frugal kind of way! 🙂 I’m so very jealous your visiting Yellowstone and I’ll have to look up Tetons but I know it will be wonderful!

  33. I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. It sounds like you are really enjoying the campground. Will you try to stay all summer? I plan to do a running “off season” soon myself after Utah. We’ll hit the beach in early June, but then we’ll stay here and enjoy chillin’ by the pool and skiing at the lake the rest of the summer. I kinda like those low-key weekends. Come visit!

    • I could stay all summer actually. I like it out there a lot, it’s closer to my work too. Now if we only had a boat to enjoy too! We need to get together this summer for sure. I miss you!

  34. I’m glad you enjoyed your mother’s day! I hope it was awesome. I didn’t know you could catch turtles like that!
Sarah @ Bucket List Tummy recently posted…What I Ate Saturday After a Long RunMy Profile

    • Yes you can catch them, they are harder to catch but nothing else was biting so I had patience. I had no problems getting the hook out and released him just fine.
